Hmlet is the leading living and lifestyle platform that offers co-living rooms and apartments for rent. Due to its rapid scale up, Hmlet transitioned away from in-sourcing its housekeeping team to outsourcing them to Nimbus.
Nimbus worked closely with the HR team of Hmlet to provide new housekeepers whilst also working on retaining as many of Hmlet’s previous housekeeping crew as possible , providing them with new training SOPs and re-engaging the team with a new employer identity.
Thanks to our shared progressive views, 10 housekeeping crews were all retained under Nimbus’ employment scheme with a majority still working at Hmlet. Others were re-purposed to more suitable commercial roles after assessing both personalities and fit .
A new team leader was also appointed to marshall a happy housekeeping team determined to help its members “live a life less ordinary”.
The team has since played an integral part in keeping its tenant safe during the Covid-19 Stay Home Notice period and play a critical role in the timely dry cleaning of the linens and bed sheets , as well as reporting faults that take place in the space.
